Insurance

At Vibrant Life Therapy we are out-of-network providers. Some health insurance providers and employee benefit plans make it possible for your therapy to be covered in full or in part, through reimbursement. Such requires a Superbill to be submitted to your insurance provider, which we can provide for you. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan can reimburse you for psychotherapy services with an out-of-network provider.

We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider:

  • Does my health insurance plan include mental health benefits?
  • Does this coverage include services with an out-of-network provider?
  • Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
  • Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
  • Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?

Mentaya

Reimbursement help, streamlined.

We've partnered with Mentaya, a service that streamlines getting reimbursed for your therapy sessions through out-of-network benefits.

Mentaya is perfect if you:

  • Have out-of-network benefits
  • Feel overwhelmed by superbills and insurance
  • Have submitted superbills but failed to get any reimbursement
  • Simply want to skip the hassle of paperwork

How it works

  1. 1 Sign up for Mentaya
  2. 2 Our practice will enter your sessions into the platform.
  3. 3 Mentaya submits the claim and handles any insurance follow-up.
  4. 4 You get reimbursed by insurance!

Mentaya charges a 5% fee per claim, which includes handling any paperwork required, dealing with denials, and calling insurance companies.

It's risk-free: They guarantee claims are successfully submitted, or a full refund of their fees.

To check your OON benefits, use this Mentaya benefits link .

*We do not provide Superbills for clients wanting to use Medicare or Medicaid. You will not receive any reimbursement from such.

Payment

Vibrant Life Therapy accepts all major credit cards and HSA cards, and can also work with your Ecclesiastical leaders for payment. Payment method must be secured in your client file in our online client portal prior to your intake session with your therapist.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 48 hours before your scheduled session, otherwise you will be charged for the full session fee.

The “No Surprises” Act

Good Faith Estimate information

As of January 1, 2022, a new federal law called the No Surprises Act took effect. This law is designed to protect individuals from unexpected medical bills and requires all healthcare providers, including therapists, to offer a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) of the expected cost of services to clients who are paying out of pocket or not using insurance.

The No Surprises Act was created to help ensure transparency around the cost of healthcare services. It requires providers to give clients an estimate of expected charges before services begin, reducing the risk of unexpected bills.

A Good Faith Estimate is required for anyone who does not have health insurance, or chooses not to use their insurance benefits for a particular service, even if they are insured. These clients are considered self-pay under the law.

Therapy is a highly individualized process, and the length and frequency of treatment can vary widely from person to person. Because of this, it's often not possible to predict exactly how many sessions will be needed. Still, as required by law, we will provide a general estimate of the cost of services based on what we currently understand about your needs and goals.

Please note that this estimate is not a binding agreement or a cap on the number of sessions you may choose to attend. You're always welcome to discuss your progress, goals, and any financial questions with your therapist at any time.
