She is a compassionate and dedicated therapist with 15 years of experience in supporting teens and adults through challenges such as sexual addictions, trauma, and navigating narcissistic relationships. Rachelle’s approach is grounded in her wealth of experience and skill, offering direct, yet kind guidance infused with humor to foster comfort and growth. As a mother, business owner, and trusted friend, Rachelle understands the complexities of life and brings a unique perspective to her practice.

Work Experience:
Rachelle has worked in residential treatment centers for teenagers since before graduate school. She clinically directed a treatment center for teenage girls, and worked with teenage boys in residential care for several years. She has worked in multiple out-patient clinics and has focused on trauma, betrayal, narcissistic relationship dynamics, anxiety and depression, religious trauma, and other issues. She has worked with victims of sexual abuse, helped with parenting teens, done attachment repair work, and helped with many other mental and emotional health challenges.

Alumita is a therapist who is passionate about helping adults navigate life’s toughest moments—whether that’s adjusting to a recent diagnosis, facing a personal loss, or working through the weight of depression and anxiety. She works with clients in both Utah and California, providing a safe and supportive space to explore what’s happening and where healing can begin.
Alumita’s therapeutic approach is eclectic and grounded in compassion. She draws from client-centered, strength-based, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused therapies, always tailoring the work to meet you where you are. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of what’s next, she will work together with you to uncover tools, insights, and strategies to help you move forward.
Much of her work has centered around supporting individuals who are coping with end-stage diagnoses or experiencing acute grief and loss. These are moments filled with shock, denial, confusion, and deep emotional pain—and you don’t have to go through them alone. Her goal is to provide clarity, comfort, and hope during even the most of difficult times.

Steve is a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum Student currently completing his Master’s Degree, bringing both personal insight and professional dedication to his work with clients. His journey into the mental health field began after experiencing a near-fatal heart attack at age 50. While his physical recovery was quick, the emotional aftermath was more complex. Through therapy, Steve found healing, resilience, renewed hope and discovered a calling to help others do the same.
Steve believes that no one should face life’s challenges alone. He is passionate about helping individuals lighten their emotional burdens and build a more balanced, joyful life. Using evidence-based practices, he equips clients with practical tools to manage stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. His counseling approach is warm, collaborative, and non-judgmental, creating a safe space where clients can explore new paths toward healing and personal growth.
Before pursuing his counseling career, Steve worked successfully as a real estate developer and entrepreneur. He holds a B.S. from Brigham Young University and a Master’s in Marketing Communications from Northwestern University. Outside the therapy room, he enjoys spending time with his three daughters and spoiling his grandson. He also works part-time at the Deer Valley Ski School, sharing his love for skiing and the outdoors.
